Experiences with Dominican salons in Houston, Texas?
If you know of one please tell me and if you been there please share your experience. I have damaged hair and its short, barely touches the shoulders and it's uneven. I heard domincans work wonders on naturally curly hair! So please help! :DExperiences with Dominican salons in Houston, Texas?
I don't know about Dominicans in Houston, but I have years of experience with Abel at Headliners on Bissonett. He's the only Mexican man I've even know who specializes in black hair; many of his clients happen to be Dominicans (but I know he's from Mexican, because he talks about visiting family in Mexico). You can rest assured that he's really good. This is the salon that Beyonce Knowles' family owned for years. A stylist named Sandra over at Lovely Hair Studio, She's Mexican and very good with thick hair. I'm half Mexican and Black %26amp; have really, really thick hair. qualities of it's freshness that they dont even notice that there isnt a diffrence in their appearence
That depends on your goal. To cure wrinkles or other aging problems? No. They do help with acne and blackheads, to moisturize and prevent flakiness. It is also a very relaxing way to spend an hour or two.

Bikini wax predicament ! I like to completely take off the hair.. $50 too expensive to spend on salons! Ideas?
I try waxing my bikini area myself.It takes min 2 hrs %26amp; most hair doesnt come off.I have lots of ingrowth _ Black ugly spots cuz of it.have been using a scrub glove for long_no improvement.Dont like shaving..it gets rough and itchy the nest day.Creams keep hair off only couple days.Waxing seems to give the longest results.Is there an easier way?Pls help me get rid of the spots n ingrowth.. :(Bikini wax predicament ! if your not doing it right you'll will make it look worse . do a little area at a time .. takes longer but better results remember to apply the wax in same direction as hair growth and remove the opposite way . Ingrown hair should be removed with tweezers then cleansed with hydrogen peroxide , I've been waxing for a living for 15 years and my clientele always comes back .Bikini wax predicament ! after you shave swipe it with a speedstick...you know like the men's deordorant.
i had a friend that stripped in college and she told me about the speedstick trick!
i'm not sure about the waxing...don't do it myself...too big of a chicken.
maybe you need a higher quality of wax...

I would call around to different salons to ask. There probably isn't much of a market for threading in that area.

i would be very interested to hear from anybody who actually knows the answer to this. myself, my friend %26amp; her daughter...all contracted nail infections from a Nail Bar which had to be treated with anti-biotics from the Doctor...%26amp; i'm pretty annoyed about it.
