I shave also, have always wanted to get a wax but I am kind of shy to bare all. I have heard and read that when you get it professionally done its not too bad, and of course the first time you wax anything its going to hurt a bit but i think that the outcome is going to be so Worth it. I have also read that after you get waxed so many times that the hair thins out a bit. Waxing is pain,there is no way not to wax without pain.

The thicker hair because of shaving thing is a myth.





Keep waxing and your hair will grow back slower and thinner, and should hurt less over time. Take some tylenol before going.
there's no way it's not gonna hurt. but if you wax often enough you'll just get used to it. sometimes it sucks being a girl, doesn't it? :]

ive been shaving since the day it first came out and its not thicker its a bit rougher but not thicker its the only painless way to do it
waxing hurts, buts its the most efficient if you dont want to shave. waxing makes the hairs grow back lighter and softer and it takes longer than shaving to grow back





go get waxed, try it out. im sure u will like the results, but just bare with the pain.

You don't get thicker hair from shaving. %26amp; no there isn't really anything you can do.
the thing with waxing is it hurts less and less everytime, and there are mental meditation exercises you can do to ignore the pain... and shaving does not thicken hair. that is a myth. you could use nair creams... which are painfree and last longer than shaving
Go to a salon to get it done. It hurts, but you will get used to it after waxing for a while. The hair grows back less and thinner too. I would recommend taking some Motrim before going

You cant wax without pain.. lol i mean if you get used to waxing a lot then it will hurt less but it will always be a burn...i just shave and use hair removal cream.. apply cocoa butter when finished =D

you can try hard wax. its different than soft wax, and doesnt use a strip.





you can coat your skin with a layer of baby powder before waxing. it helps the wax NOT stick to your skin, and only stick to the hair.





you should take some ibuprofin 20 minutes before waxing to take the edge off.





NEVER wax while on your period. you are more prone to pain during this time.
if it hurts really bad when you do it yourself, it's because you're thinking about it too much and predicting the pain. it will hurt a little less at a salon because they'll use a higher grade (professional) wax and better strips. plus they do it so fast that it will be over quickly.
